Charity Night
We had a great time last Saturday, there was loads of cheering, clapping and dancing! Thank you to all who came to the night last week, and also to those who donated seperately. Around 75-80 people came on the night, around £950 cash was taken in entrance and raffle. A good proportion of this is able to be gift aided so the total raised will end up being well over £1000.
Thanks to everyone who helped plan and run the evening but extra special thanks must go to the band who played for the cost of a few strings! These are very special guys. If you want a professional band for a wedding etc call them, expect to pay though! 😉
There will be a sixties evening held on 21st May at Bromborough Civic Hall from 7.30-12 to raise funds for rebuilding a school in Leveque, Haiti, that was destroyed last year in the earthquake.
LXS are a fantastic 60s band with a vast repertoire, they have been gigging for many years and have even had a few tours in the States! See bottom of page to listen to a few tracks…
We would value you booking tickets in advance but coming on the night is even more important! 🙂
Dancing is optional! – As is the bar and raffle.
