Hedges

We have worked with all types of hedging over the years.

Sometimes a light trim is all that is necessary, sometimes a hedge has been left to grow out of control and needs some serious cutting back.

Shrub trimming and pruning can be carried out, with due regard to most appropriate times.

We can remove all hedge cuttings, if required.

We are also experienced in hedge planting – beech, privit, leylandii, hawthorn etc.
If you want a new hedge planting the cheapest time of year to do it is in the winter, this is because the plants can be bought ‘bareroot’ rather than container grown.

Often people have climbers such as ivy, ceanoteous, pyracanthea etc growing on the walls of a house. This looks it’s best when kept trimmed, trimming also avoids problems with growth into roofs, windows, rain water pipes etc.
