Lawn Care

Lawn care forms a massive part of our business.
Regular, frequent mowing is carried out, usually March-November with occasional winter cuts.

Fertilising, spraying, coring and scarifying is also executed with care. We have the advantage over large lawn care companies that we see your lawn very often and so can accurately specify correct treatments and optimal time for treatment, to fit in with mowing schedule and weather.

We are used to mowing at average sized properties and also have experience of mowing sites of many acres.

We have the right equipment for the job and only use the best mowers for the task in hand.

Lawns up to around a third of an acre would normally be mown with a pedestrian roller mower that leaves your lawn with classic stripes.
Lawns above this size are generally cut with a 4′ wide ride on machine. We collect the clippings from all lawns mown and can dispose of them for a small charge.  We can use a tractor and topper to mow areas that are less visually important.

Accurate edging is usually done with a bent shaft strimmer, correctly guarded.

‘Half mooning’ of lawn edges can be undertaken to re-define edges of a lawn when that is necessary.

A wide range of fertilisers and weedkillers are stocked by us to suit lawn problems that are commonly encountered.
